Preparing for the Procedure
BOTOX®/ Xeomin / Dysport Pre Treatment Instructions
3 Days Before Treatment:
AVOID topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or other “anti-aging” products.
Also AVOID waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal cream on the area to be treated.
7 Days Before Treatment (to prevent bruising)
AVOID blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve.
Also avoid herbal supplements, such as Garlic, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and Omega-3 capsules.
Do not drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours before (or after) your treatment to avoid extra bruising. · Inform your provider if you have a history of Perioral Herpes to receive advice on antiviral therapy prior to treatment.
Do not use BOTOX®/Xeomin/ Dysport if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are allergic to any of its ingredients, or suffer from any neurological disorders.
Please inform your provider if you have any questions about this prior to the treatment. Day of Treatment
Arrive to the office with a “clean face”. Please do not wear makeup. You may bring your own makeup to apply after your treatment.
Juviderm / Restylyn/ Belotro / Radiesse : Pre Treatment Instrutions
Inform your provider if you have a history of Perioral Herpes to receive advice on antiviral therapy prior to treatment.
Avoid dental work (including standard teeth cleaning) at least 2 weeks prior to treatment and one month following treatment. Avoid oral surgery at least 4 weeks prior to treatment and one month following treatment.
7 Days Before Treatment (to prevent bruising)
Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve. Also avoid herbal supplements, such as Garlic, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and Omega-3 capsules. Please note: If you have a cardiovascular history, please check with your doctor prior to stopping use of Aspirin.

Microdermabrasion PRP Pre Procedure Instructions
Before Treatment:
Inform your provider if you have a history of facial and/or nasal herpes to receive advice on antiviral therapy prior to treatment.
7 DAYS BEFORE treatment: Avoid chemical peel, waxing, electrolysis, Laser treatments, or threading within 7 days before and after this treatment. ·
5 DAY S BEFORE treatment: Do not receive injections of Botox, Collagen, Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane, or other injectibles.
3 DAYS BEFORE treatment: Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Salicylic Acid, or other “anti-aging”, “acne”, and “bleaching” products. Also AVOID waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal cream on the area to be treated. · Avoid excessive sun exposure and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily of SPF 30 or higher (i.e., EltaMD®). Please arrive to the office with a “clean face”. Please do not wear makeup, if possible.
Mesotherapy Pre-Treatment Instructions
- Anti-inflammatory (Advil, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, Celebrex)
- Aspirin
- Vitamin E
- Gingko Biloba two days prior Pre-treat with an anti-viral if any history of cold sores, genital herpes, or shingles. (Call for prescription) Arnica oil or ointment can be used to decrease bruising.
Thread Lift Pre Procedure Instructions:
Treatment may not be suitable if:
You have active acne/broken skin or are prone to cold sores
You have taken anti-coagulation medications such as aspirin/warfarin/heparin or have consumed alcohol within 48 hours of treatment
You are pregnant or breastfeeding
You have an auto immune disease, diabetes or infection
We advise you to continue taking prescribed medications but stop taking some complimentary supplements such as evening primrose oil, vitamin C and E, garlic and ginko prior to treatment)
